(2020.06.01) Ningbo China On May 29, the 2019 Supplier Conference of SAIC Volkswagen was held online. At this conference, Ningbo Preh Joyson Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Joyson Electronics, was awarded the Gold Award for the outstanding R&D performance award. It is the only one in the area of R&D.

In this commendation, there were six suppliers in the area of R&D which won the award. Since the best performance and huge contribution in the E-mobility business of VW, Joyson-Preh was the only one supplier that achieved the Gold Award, like the battery management systems of the project of MEB, etc.

According to the newsletter, Joyson-Preh is the battery management systems supplier of the VW ID. series, which are based on the MEB platform, supplying the battery management unit (BMU) and cell monitoring unit (CMU), and other power electrical control products or systems.
